All boat operations from Bournemouth pier have been suspended after a 17-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl drowned after being swept out to sea, with claims they were taken by a riptide created by a pleasure boat.

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care has launched its Christmas tree collection service. The service is in its third year and users are urged to support the hospice again by registering for their tree collection online. All Bournemouth and Poole postcodes are covered and collections will take place on 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th January 2021. Bookings close on 3rd January 2021.
