AN investigation has been launched to trace a dog walker who “fled” after their pet attacked a swan in the East End. The bird was injured early on Sunday morning after the animal – said to be a Staffordshire by eyewitnesses – pounced. Friends of Alexandra Park said the swan had received injuries to its chest and leg. Sadly, it had to be put to sleep yesterday.
