DALLAS: Authorities have identified six people found dead in a suburban Dallas home in what police said was an apparent murder-suicide plot.
The Allen Police Department said investigators believe brothers Tanvir Towhid, 21, and Farhan Towhid, 19, made a pact to kill their parents, sister and grandmother before killing themselves.
The bodies were found early Monday by officers performing a welfare check, Sgt. Jon Felty said.

Six members of the same family have died in a murder-suicide after two teenage brothers made a pact to commit suicide and take their family with them.
According to NBC News, Allen police discovered the deaths after a concerned friend called police around 1 a.m. Monday, 5 April, worried that a person was suicidal, police Sgt. Jon Felty said.
“The two brothers had entered into an agreement that they were going to complete suicide, and from that, it went to where the entire family was taken with them,” Felty said.
One of the brothers described in an Instagram post what occurred or would occur, Felty said.

The body of a young man was found with multiple stab wounds dumped behind a Texas church on Monday night.
Authorities said they received a tip at around 5 p.m. about a body that had possibly been dumped in the 400 block of East Wallisville Road, in east Harris County.
Investigators conducted a search of the area and found the remains of an unidentified male who had appeared to have been dumped along the fence line behind a church, Sergeant Greg Pinkins of the Harris County Sheriff s Office told reporters on Monday night.
