Near campus, citing concerns about the safety of their children. Tonight, mixed reviews of this Pilot Program. While the administration certainly shares our goal of making the university safer for students, i frankly dont feel that they share our sense of urgency. I dont know why we need the need for private security, but it feels probably unnecessary. The parents say they raised more than 40,000 to launch these new safety measures. Good evening. The proposal, released today by sfmta, is for each of San Franciscos 11 districts to get at least two cameras. Most will be concentrated in the northeast part of the city on some of the most dangerous streets. Tonight, abc seven News Reporter jared stone has the strong reaction from drivers and pedestrians. This camera is already up along San Franciscos embarcadero, but if youre a driver in the city, youll want to be aware of 33 new cameras that will be going up scattered across San Franciscos 49mi■ s.
