Cherry Creek School District officials ousted the principal at Black Forest Hills Elementary School in Aurora Friday, two weeks after a registered sex offender walked onto campus and attempted to kidnap a student during recess.

Following an attempted kidnapping at the southeast Aurora school, the Cherry Creek School District announced a change in leadership. Solomon Galligan is charged.

Parents of kids who attend Black Forest Hills Elementary School want the school to conduct an investigation after an attempted kidnapping on school property.

She says it was other students, some of whom shouted stranger danger, that helped protect her son and each other.
