like? so as you mentioned i had a cardiac arrest in 2013. my heart stopped for 13 minutes. amazing bistanders were there. i was shocked three times and taken to a local hospital here and i was put in a medically induced coma toop. i say because after learning about that, i went through a very heavy process of trying to figure out what happened, right, would i need a new heart, could i play again. and my goal was to give back. so i started the omar carter foundation to do just that. i wasn t sure what sea was. i knew a little bit about cpr and a.d. awareness. it was actually my mom s idea to start the foundation. so i credit her and my family and my boys for doing that.
