Amazon is bringing its Amazon One palm recognition system to all of its more than 500 Whole Foods stores by the end of the year.

Customers shopping at Amazon's US-based Whole Foods grocery stores will be able to pay for items by hovering their palm over a scanner, much like shoppers already do with smartphones or credit cards. The service can also be found in several entertainment venues and airport shops, and is also being tested in some Starbucks cafes.

Amazon's contactless payment system that works using your palm is expanding all 500+ Whole Foods stores. The rollout of the palm recognition technology will be completed by the end of this year.
