Benefis nurse Kayla VanderKooy on Wednesday gave Great Falls resident Tanya Schaefer the 10,000th vaccine administered at the Cascade County Community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic. For Schaefer, 61, the shot means protecting not only herself but especially her mother, her friends, her community and beyond. “Our country will be safer.
