Toronto newcomers desperate for household items: volunteers
Home Essentials Newcomer Support is an organization that gathers household items for new immigrants and refugees in need who live in Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park or Scarborough. Volunteers say they're stepping up as the housing crisis has made life more difficult for newcomers.
