Tents at Harvard and Brown went up three days after encampments at MIT, Emerson College, and Tufts University. The protesters are calling on the schools to divest from companies that support Israel.

At Emerson on Wednesday morning, students had formed a human barricade, two to three rows deep, blocking both ends of the alley.

The student demonstrations at Emerson College, MIT and Tufts University, which began Sunday night, come after the arrests of more than 100 students at a similar encampment at Columbia University last week.
