The woman and Scott were gone when officers arrived but they were located about 90 minutes later sitting in a car at an apartment building. The woman got out of the car and told police Scott had a gun and had threatened to kill her. Scott refused several orders to get out of the vehicle and eventually fired one shot at Sgt. Zachary Thomas, DeVine said. Gish then fired, hitting Scott four times. Thomas was not injured.
