Longtime Bent County resident, Thomas (Tom) Pointon, passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 90. Tom was born in Bent County as the youngest child of five, to James (Jim) Pointon and Amy Ham Pointon. He graduated at the age of 16 from Bent County High School in 1947. After attending Colorado State University for one year, he was called home to help on the family ranch as his older brother had become ill.
