January 7, 2021 Continuing Hisense’s pre-CES run of announcements, the company has today announced a series of 8K TVs for the Australian market, launching next month in 65, 75 and 85 inch sizes. Despite the recent announcement of the company’s own VIDAA U5 operating system for their 4K ULED TVs, the 8K TVs will all be Android TVs, bringing Google Assistant to Hisense, and taking advantage of a new far-field microphone for hands free operation.
