LONGi has unveiled its latest perovskite/crystalline tandem solar cell at Intersolar, which boasts an efficiency of 33.5%.

Chinese solar manufacturer LONGi and Austrian firm Energy3000 have signed a framework agreement for 1.5GW of solar capacity.

The largest of the newly launched TOPCon modules features maximum power output of 605Wp, providing up to 22.9% efficiency. "This is currently the highest efficiency for a TOPCon module in the market," according to European marketing director Andre Bodenhagen.

The modules are based on 3Sun's CORE-H technology and will be commercially available in 2024. They are produced at the Enel Green Power subsidiary's factory in Catania, Italy.
