Lansing police disclosed Tuesday that two people found dead in a south Lansing home on Saturday had a generator running inside the residence.

Investigators said the man was riding in the parking lot around 1a.m., hit a curb and lost control, striking his head on the pavement.

They claim the person has missed jury duty and needs to pay money in order to avoid arrest.

The thefts happened in Leslie and Aurelius townships. Both farm tractors were parked on access roads leading to farm fields.

Deputies responded about 6:30 p.m. Friday to the intersection of Stockbridge Road and Dexter Trail in Stockbridge Township for the crash.

Joshua Dee Lott, 47, was headed south when his vehicle crossed an intersection at Grand River Avenue and hit a ditch embankment, officials said.

The man was driving south about 5:30 a.m. when his vehicle went through the intersection at Grand River Avenue and hit a ditch, police said.

Schools are required to conduct at least three school safety and security drills yearly.
