Helena Flats School Principal Allison Hawes will be the new principal of Ruder Elementary School in Columbia Falls.

Superintendent Andy Maheras earlier this month pleaded not guilty to two charges of misdemeanor assault related to the incident. Maheras, who is on paid administrative leave and working from home while the case is pending, was in attendance.
