There is less beach at Singer Beach these days. Last week's storm and recent persistent winds past few months out of the northeast are eroding beachfront, according to local environmental officials.

Andy Studt said overall, beaches in the county fared as well as can be expected with a storm event like this one, and efforts to create resilient beaches have paid off in minimizing and mitigating storm-generated impacts to our beach and dune system.

Jupiter Beach was one of several areas along the coastline surveyed by team members Monday.
