A man accused in a fatal shooting after a traffic accident earlier this year now faces charges in a separate West Englewood homicide in which he allegedly killed a man as he stood outside a vehicle that had two young children inside.

An accused killer who reportedly once worked for an anti-violence group in Chicago has been charged with committing a murder while free on bond in another case in which he allegedly shot and killed a motorist weeks earlier.

Prosecutors say a bullet casing recovered from the expressway shooting was traced to the gun used in the other attack.
