Several Portage organizations received a helpful visit from a group of Pardeeville High School students who are all about service for a new districtwide initiative.

"I would love for people to realize that domestic violence survivors are not others," said Sathasivam, "They are the people within your community, they are someone you know."

University of Chicago Laboratory Schools students helped out at the River Haven Homeless Shelter and Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area ReStore as part of a community service requirement.
