With the Marianas Visitors Authority announcing that the Saipan Marathon will be held on March 9, 2024, the islands’ running community was understandably excited with the return of an old favorite.

Run Saipan member Raymund Tolentino has continued his running hobby even while on vacation in the Philippines and even took part in the duathlon this past weekend.

Run Saipan mainstay Ann Bang followed Mother Abbess’ advice in the musical Sound of Music when she “Climbed Every Mountain” or at least those assigned in last weekend’s 5th Three Mountain Climbathon in the outskirts of Seoul, South Korea.

Run Saipan long-distance master Ann Bang placed another feather on her cap after completing her first marathon event last Saturday in South Korea.
