Day 2 of the 2022 Southern Zone South Sectional Championships featured another 10 events — eight individual races and two relays — in Florida on Friday.  

In the men’s 50 back, Stanford commit Joshua Zuchowski (above) posted a 27.09 to pick up the victory for his Flood Aquatics Swim Team.

Ana Marcela Cunha (above middle) won her third-straight World Championship in the women's 5km race on Monday in Lake Lupa.

Brennan Gravley places 10th; Anna Auld finishes 20th

Those 16 athletes represent seven countries: United States (8), Venezuela (2), Colombia (2), Jordan (1), Germany (1), Egypt (1) and Argentina (1).

Competition is set to begin on June 18 in Budapest, Hungary.

Results from Open Water Nationals and Junior Nationals in Florida finalized the 2022 U.S. Open Water National Team and World Junior Championships rosters.

After a strong showing at the SEC Championships and NCAA Diving Zones, 11 Gators will compete in the Women's NCAA National Championships.

Wesley Ng posted a 45.73 in the 100 backstroke in prelims on Sunday to rank him #20 in the NCAA this year. This moves him up from his #26 time on Saturday.
