Magistrates said their powers were insufficient to sentence Anne Egglestone over 15 breaches of a court order banning her from calling 999 or 101.

A Norwich woman convicted of making nuisance phone calls to emergency services has admitted 10 further offences ahead of her sentencing next year.

The 60-year-old breached a ban on 999 and 101 calls by making spurious complaints that neighbours had looked into her garden and poisoned a dog.
