Narelle Green, in her late 70s, had her $2million home vandalised during the early hours of Monday morning. The cottage in Leichhardt, in Sydneys inner west, was covered in oil-based red paint.

The incident has baffled neighbours in Leichhardt - with locals offering up numerous theories, but few answers, as to why the house was brazenly attacked by a sinister figure.
