Sun International is mulling setting up a separate business to house smaller hotel and casino assets to focus on cash-generating operations once it completes the acquisition of the Peermont group, whose flagship property is Emperors Palace.

Gaming and hotel group Sun International has embarked on an expansion plan that includes adding more slot machines at some facilities and additional games on its online platform, which will be opened to more countries in Africa.

Sun International is investing R850m in refurbishing existing properties and building new ones at Sun City.
