Oman-based integrated energy group OQ said its petrochemical unit has signed nine key agreements for the establishment of industrial projects at Ladayn Polymer Park in Sohar. The move is aimed at fostering the growth and development of local businesses.

Omans Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) has announced that it has signed seven land usufruct agreements with strategic investors including Gemini Corporation, MAK, Napco National and Jcoplastic Middle East, for a duration of 33 years.

OQ Refineries and Petrochemical Industries, a subsidiary of OQ, the global energy group, has signed nine investment deals worth a total of $88 million to establish industrial projects in the Ladayn Polymer Park in Suhar Industrial City.
