A man facing an attempted murder charge was on Wednesday remanded to prison.

Infielder Yonny Hernández was on the mound to close out the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers win over Reno on Sunday, actually earning a save in a 16-15 win that saw two home runs each by David Dahl and Michael Busch, and a home run from Miguel Vargas.

A man armed with a machete was arrested after a more than hour-long SWAT standoff with officers, according to Vidalia police.

Dodgers infielder Michael Busch hit two home runs for Triple-A Oklahoma City, driving in four runs. In Double-A, Jose Ramos homered and drove in five runs for Tulsa and Kyle Hurt struck out seven in five innings on the mound.

Thursday in the Dodgers minor leagues, a trio of strong performances for Triple-A Oklahoma City, a second straight short Double-A start for Nick Frasso, and a rainout in Great Lakes.

Dodgers right-hander Daniel Hudson started a minor league rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League as he works his way back from knee surgery and ankle tendinitis. Minor leaguers Mark Washington and Imanol Vargas won player of the week honors for the week ending June 4.

Saturday in the Dodgers minors, Brandon Lewis hit a pair of three-run home runs for Double-A Tulsa, and Chris Newell had three extra-base hits for Low-A Rancho Cucamonga.

Dodgers pitching was at the forefront in the minors on Thursday. Hyun-il Choi made his season debut with three scoreless innings for Great Lakes. Kyle Hurt pitched four scoreless innings for Tulsa, and Ben Casparius followed with four scoreless innings in his Double-A debut. Plus a look at hard-to-hit Quakes right-hander Joel Ibarra.
