APPLETON - Outagamie Countys North Dog Park will permanently close at sunset on March 21 due to the county expanding the northwest landfill. The park, on landfill property, must be 1,000 feet away from landfill activities per Department of Natural Resources regulations. The South and Small Dog Parks are outside of the buffer zone of the landfill and will stay open for the time being.
