All of Algeria has paid a special tribute to its late Archbishop Henri Tessier, who was laid to rest in the overwhelming Muslim county this week after dying on December 1 in his native France.
The imposing Basilica of Our Lady of Africa, which overlooks the Bay of Algiers, was not the only place where Christians converged.
