The Kebbi Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has intercepted about 6,240 pieces of cap-sensitive dynamite explosives

Kebbi Area Command, has handed over 6, 240 items of suspected explosive substances it intercepted in 2022 along Yauri-Jega road in the state.

  The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Kebbi Area Command, has handed over to the Department of State Services (DSS) 6,240 dynamites it intercepted in 2022 along Yauri-Jega Road in the state.   According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Area Comptroller of the command, Mr Iheanacho Ernest- Ejike made this known while handing over the items to the DSS in the state, on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi.

The Area Comptroller of the command, Iheanacho Ernest-Ejike, made this known while handing over the items.

The Kano Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service says it generated N30.2bn in revenue between January and March 2024.

The official is one of the seven Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) officials arrested and detained for allegedly accepting N12 billion bribes from smugglers who are still walking freely.

Some of the Customs officials were arrested and detained and some of them have returned money to the EFCC.
