A group opposing a Provo developer’s plans for a major project at the base of Park City Mountain Resort has launched an online petition in an attempt to influence a City Hall panel to cast a ‘Nay’ vote on the proposal. A little more than 900 people had signed the petition by the middle of the morning on Tuesday.

The Provo developer pursuing a major project at the Park City Mountain Resort on Wednesday signaled the proposal will not be significantly altered and indicated it wants a City Hall panel to cast a vote shortly. The statement from PEG Companies was perhaps the strongest statement to date regarding the firm’’s desire for a decision.
