Hamburg Chamber of Commerce named Dale Streeter Man of the Year and Terri Lynn Riley Woman of the Year at its 63rd annual banquet on Jan. 29.

The detours through Jacksonville have been configured in preparation for the demolition and reconstruction of a bridge over U.S. 67/167 -- a project that is expected to last a year.

Nearly 100 miles of U.S. 167 -- from Saline County to Union County -- is now named the "Madison Murphy Highway."

Beginning in late October, construction will require the closure of the N. James Street Bridge in Jacksonville for a year.
