There is a sign the campus is in mourning this morning the University Staff raised the United States flag and uc berkeley flag to half staff to honor nic and consequencely those killed in baton rouge. Nic was a junior in del mar. Majoring in political sciences. He was in nice for a fourweek long Study Abroad Program for startup ideas. He was studying the field day along the nice waterfront with thousands of other people when a man drove a large truck through the crowd killing 84 people. Friends thought the truck missed nik and that he disappeared in the ensuing stampede. His father flew to nice. Yesterday authorities confirmed through the university the worst possible outcome.
