The exhibition “White Pine County Artistry,” with landscape paintings of Dawn Dot Star debuts at the Nevada Arts Council’s LXS Gallery at the Nevada State Legislative Building in Carson City on April 27. The artist specializes in watercolor and pencil depictions of rural Nevada.

Reno artist Nate Clark’s paintings are featured at the Nevada Arts Council’s OXS Gallery through March 11, with a reception and artist talk set for 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19. Clark’s discussion begins at 6:15. The reception is free and open to the public.

Reno artist Lara Alberti is the latest to be featured at the Nevada Legislature in the Legislative Exhibition Series gallery in Carson City. Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. adjacent to the Caucus Deli, the LXS space displays Alberti’s series “Time Frame” March 18 through April 5.
