Reducing the number of tax brackets from 7 to 3. The Administration Says it will boost the economy and help close the budget gap. The republicans have avoided responsibility of paying for their tax cuts. The president s tax plan would also eliminate the estate tax. Critics. Entire plan say it could add trillions to the deficit.
