The gateway care and rehab center announced two new deaths from the coronavirus bringing the total number of those there to 11. The Union Council member said his grandmother was one of those deaths. 25 Staff Members have tested positive for the virus. The first confirmed death reported at a Castro Valley nursing facility. According to the Health Department a resident of the east bay postacute center has also died. There are a total of 45 confirmed cases at that facility.
