The Coeur d’Alene City Council recently approved a transfer of structural fill material from city property on Atlas Road to Ignite cda in exchange for unsuitable soils from the Atlas Mill site, known as “Mt. Hink.”

A business based at a Bolton mill has appealed an enforcement notice, in a bid to not be evicted from the unit. 

Ignite Executive Director Tony Berns wrote that he and the board are aware “that the housing product’s price points developed in Atlas are well above what many families in our community can afford.”

Ignite CDA recently signed a Development Disposition Agreement with deChase Miksis for Area 13 and a closing date is scheduled for Dec. 8.

A planning enforcement notice has been served on two businesses at an historic Bolton mill due to a breach of permitted plans.
