The North Dakota Safety Council explained how it trains bar employees to de-escalate situations and why bar staff should not follow unruly patrons out of the establishment.

“We’re not just going to go blindly forward and try another vote,” Doug Restemayer, co-chair of Fargodome Reimagined, told The Forum. “Getting 60% (approval) on any vote can be quite a high hurdle.”
While just under 8,000 votes were cast, turnout fell below what City Auditor Steve Sprague had previously estimated for the December election, predicting roughly 10,000-15,000 voters.
