Track athletes took center stage this week as the MCAL held its annual championship meet on Thursday and Saturday at San Rafael High. 

Marin's prep lacrosse teams have claimed five North Coast Section titles over the past two seasons and, with the release of this year's postseason brackets, that number is likely to increase over the course of the next two weeks.

The third-seeded Wildcats, who lost in the regular season to both the teams seeded above them, took the first step to the MCAL title with Wednesday’s 11-4 victory over No. 2 Redwood in Larkspur.
