St. Augustine Preparatory Academy plans to open a second school campus in 2026.

One-year delay by Ramirez Foundation due to unexpected issues with redevelopment.

St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, a K4-12th grade Christian school in Milwaukee, announced today that it now plans to invest a total of $100 million to create the Aug Prep North campus at the former Cardinal Stritch University campus in Glendale and Fox Point

Just a few months after The Ramirez Family Foundation announced it had purchased the former Cardinal Stritch University campus with plans to convert it into northside campus for St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, Abby Andrietsch, Aug Prep’s president and chief executive officer, had a few updates on the project for a room full of Christian education boosters.

Less than a month after purchasing the former Cardinal Stritch University and announcing plans to turn the property into a K-12 school, Gus Ramirez of The Ramirez Family Foundation said Tuesday that the new school could start classes by Fall 2025. 

Carroll University is working with St. Augustine Preparatory Academy to offer its associate degree in nursing (ADN) program on the school’s Milwaukee campus.

Purchased by Ramirez Family Foundation, which runs St. Augustine Preparatory Academy.

Foundation chairman Gus Ramirez tells WTMJ the school will either be a brand new secondary school or an expansion of St. Augustine Prep.
