Accounting for over 70,000 fatal overdoses in 2021, fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for ages 18-45. But as the threat of fentanyl grows, so does the technology to fight it. 

Fargo Cass Public Health recently partnered with a harm reduction testing company that is developing a method for issuing fentanyl spike alerts.
