Officers with the Aurora detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police investigated a collision near the southbound lanes of Hwy. 400 and Hwy. 7 in Vaughan after a driver collided with a cop car, say police.

Officers identified an allegedly stolen vehicle around 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 29, while using an automated license plate recognition system on Highway 404 southbound near Sheppard Avenue, say OPP.

The OPP said the student was originally from Bangladesh and was living in Barrie.
