Awe Sum Organics has hired Gabriel Avalos to lead its team as general manager. 

The firm seeks to fill the natural gap in organic table grapes after California finishes up in early December and before growers in Mexico begin harvesting.

Awe Sum Organics started the 10th season of its organic Peruvian winter table grape program. The company helps to fill the winter organic fruit void with high-quality organic table grapes from early December, when the California grape season is finishing up, well into April. Loading on both coasts during the winter months, Awe Sum Organics’ Peruvian table grapes offer customers a full and reliable supply.

Jared Bray, recently hired as a sales professional is looking to lead the company into the organic avocado space. As a veteran in the produce industry, Bray brings with him expertise in the organic avocado market. Bray brings strong customer service skills with promotional planning, food service, and forecasting experience. Jared comes to Awe Sum as an “avo expert,” knowledgeable of the avocado supply chain from seed to store.

Awe Sum Organics has partnered with high-quality small and mid-sized family farms in Oregon and Washington to bring customers organic blueberries that have a wonderful complex, sweet and tangy flavor.  The company's Awe Sum Organic blueberries are cultivated with the utmost care and strict adherence to organic standards.  Its organic blueberries are forecasted to be available for loading in Portland, OR, starting in late June.
