Gadsden State Community College is hosting several free events this month for students, community members, faculty and staff at four campus locations.

Gadsden State Community College has recognized Dr. Martha Lavender for her contributions to the institution by naming the boardroom inside the Joe Ford Center after the retired president.

Driver’s Education Course Offered at Gadsden State Gadsden, Ala. – Gadsden State Community College’s Continuing Education Program is offering the Drivers Education course this spring and summer on three of Gadsden State’s campuses. The first day of class for each session will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. There, students will receive instructions

Gadsden State’s service area includes Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne and St. Clair counties.

The grant from Truth Initiative will be used to promote Forever Free, which through December will seek to reduce smoking and vaping at Gadsden State.

Three faculty/staff members and two community supporters received honors.

VUB is designed to help veterans meet their academic and career goals through a variety of free services.

This summer, incoming freshmen at Gadsden State Community College are invited to participate in Cardinal Commit, the College’s new student orientation.

The fourth cohort for Gadsden State Community College’s FAME Chapter signed with their respective companies during a signing ceremony May 19.

This week Gadsden State announced a new Class A driver program being launched at their Ayers Campus site.
