The MD and CEO of Axis Mutual Fund says the fund house would now like to adopt a blended style of investment, and also focus on hybrid funds

The scheme will allocate 80-100% in equity and equity related instruments selected based on the manufacturing theme, 0-20% in other equity and equity related instruments, 0-20% in debt and money market instruments, and 0-10% in units issued by REITs & InVITs.

Ashish Gupta, the new CIO at Axis Mutual Fund, along with new CEO B Gopkumar, is in major repair mode about how money is managed at India’s 8th largest mutual fund house. Gupta says the company has strengthened its processes and has been constantly communicating with distributors.

Haridasan, who is currently Managing Director and Co-Head of Equities at Axis Capital, has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets across different asset classes.

Equity markets are well suited for long-term investments and wealth generation, says B Gopkumar, MD & CEO, Axis Securities. In an interview with MintGenie, Gopkumar noted that he expects railways, construction, capital goods, defense equipment manufacturers, fertilizers, and agrochemicals to be the sectors in focus for the upcoming budget.
