Electric fencing and funding look set to prevent baboon raiding problems in Simon’s Town, according to the latest government master plan.

The current Baboon Management Programme in towns in the Overstrand that are faced with human-baboon conflict contract expired at the end of June. A new tender was advertised in March with closing date on 26 April.
