Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A Flood Warning has been issued for parts of Juneau. Mendenhall Lake gauge levels along with the morning image from Suicide Basin indicate that the basin has started its release of water into the Mendenhall Lake.

"There is no comparison," said meteorologist Nicole Ferrin. "We’re two feet over our last record."

The Mendenhall River in Juneau, Alaska, began flooding Saturday following a "major release" from Suicide Basin. Evacuation orders have been issued.
