Yarra City Council has rejected a development application submitted by Bamfa Properties for a $350 million commercial development, designed by Techne Architecture + Interior Design.

The news follows the sale of the neighbouring site to Charter Hall, which will become home to Australia Post.

Developer Adam Agosta says companies are relocating to the inner suburbs of Melbourne because of the in-built amenity and significantly cheaper rents.
