White house was hoping with a speech like this is that it would, you know, get the grassroots up in arms, and get them to bang down sinema -- sinemas door. and bang down, metaphorically, manchins door and say you have to do that. but as van said, that has been happening already. they didnt need the president to do that. what they want is for the president to use his chops as somebody who can get things done to do just that. and not necessarily make a big speech. >> dana bash, van jones appreciat...
