MICHIGAN CITY — A week-long celebration of the work of engineers across the world brought some interesting facts and a surprise guest to Barker Middle School.

BARKER — A classroom has been reimagined to serve as a one-stop shop offering clothing and hygiene products for students.

Students will have the option to join Mary Mae Jones or Apple Glen Elementary Schools with opportunities for personalized learning.

Despite their time commitments to extracurriculars and their studies, they still find time to support community agencies like the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
