A video making the rounds on social media has captured the moment a physically challenged man surprised guests at his wedding with his unexpected performance.

On Barry and Emma MacDowell’s wedding day, Barry, whose MS diagnosis put him in a wheelchair, stood up for their first dance as newlyweds, after undergoing a year of physiology for the occasion.

Wheelchair-bound Barry MacDowell knew he wanted to do something something special for his fiancée Emma for their wedding day — deciding to undertake the enormous task of learning how to stand again, in order to share their first dance.

Scottish groom Barry MacDowell, 49, who lives with multiple sclerosis and uses a wheelchair, surprised his wife and their wedding party by standing for the entire duration of their first dance.
